Since I had started doing ropework before working with parachute cord, I decided to merge the two together. Where I used to make rope floor mats, I now make kitchen hot pads. They work quite well as they protect your table or counter top against a hot pot or pan. And they are easy to clean - a bit of soapy water and toothbrush is all you need.
These are typically made of 1 paracord strand, but with 3 or 4 turns.
About 11' of 3/8" material. 1 strand, 2 turns. An 'infinite braid' similar to a Turk's Head or Oval Mat.
