Leashes are another project I've been making. They incorporate a few more technical braiding things than a bracelet or key fob.
My leashes are unique. One difference is the addition of 1 or more extra rings along the length. Another is the leash handle - I make a loop which is braided back into the leash. This is called a 'backsplice' in rope work. I think it makes for a better leash.
Typically the leashes are about 4 feet long, excluding the loop handle. They are made of 2 paracord strands, folded in half, then braided. This makes a 4-strand round braid which is very strong but flexible.
A longer or shorter leash can be made to order.
